Maintenance and after sales support:

  • All support regarding maintenance and after sales service remains the responsibility of the distributor.
  • EDGE will, under no circumstances, communicate directly with any of the distributor's customers.
  • Gauteng only repairs and maintenance call outs can be requested via the repairs call centre. Areas outside of Gauteng need to be arranged with our Office directly.

By now, you should be familiar with the phrase, “T’s and C’s apply”.

May we be up-front and honest about ours for all repairs:

  • The distributor/customer remains liable for all call out and labour fees.
  • Should we find fault with the unit, and falls under the 6 month warranty period, EDGE will replace the parts at no charge, provided that the faulty parts are returned to us.
  • The EDGE in factory guarantee, expressly excludes misuse, negligence, abuse, incorrect installation or any fault caused by any other party other than one of our recognised service agents, fair wear and tear or any parts being replaced with non-Prenox spares during the Warranty period.
  • A 6 month guarantee on all electrical components and workmanship applies.

  • The EDGE in factory guarantee, expressly excludes misuse, negligence, abuse, incorrect installation or any fault caused by any other party other than one of our recognised service agents, and fair wear and tear.
  • A 6 month guarantee on all electrical components and workmanship applies.
  • The warranty period commences from the date of invoice to the distributor.
  • There is no guarantee on goods not yet paid for.
  • EDGE's liability is limited expressly to the replacement parts, at no cost, based on the following conditions:
    1. Parts must be collected from EDGE directly.
    2. The guarantee will only be valid with the return of all defective parts to EDGE.
    3. Any callout, labour and/or courier charges will be for the distributor’s account.
    4. Defective product repairs will not be handled on site.

Out of warranty repairs:

  • It remains the distributor’s responsibility to collect any spares from EDGE and/or return the unit to the factory.
  • All costs incurred for the spares and/or labour will be invoiced accordingly. These costs are for the distributor's account and will be payable in full BEFORE collection of unit/spares.
